Will it irritate my skin?
Retinal is an active, and some tightness, dryness or flaking in the first few weeks is common while your skin adjusts. Start with two to three evenings a week, apply to dry skin, and build up from there. Patch test on your inner arm first if you have reactive skin.
When do I use it?
In the evening only, after cleansing. Follow with a moisturiser. Wear sunscreen every morning while you are using it, as vitamin A derivatives can make skin more sensitive to sunlight.
Can I use it while pregnant or breastfeeding?
Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before using any vitamin A product during pregnancy or while breastfeeding. We are not able to give medical advice.
Can I use it with my other products?
Hydrating layers like hyaluronic acid go on first and pair well with it. Be more careful stacking it with other strong actives such as exfoliating acids, and give your skin a night off between them if it feels sensitive.
How long does delivery take?
Five to seven working days anywhere in South Africa. Delivery is R99, and free on orders of R1000 or more. Everything ships locally, so there are no customs charges or import delays.
